Horizontal Line in Word Document

Question

Office 2007 Word.

I have a horizontal line in a document that I cannot get rid of. I can move it to the bottom of the document but I cannot highlight it or delete it in any way. I can put the cursor above the line and below the line but not on the line. It cannot be highlighted or removed in any way that I have discovered. Any solutions?

abach, Thanks for the reply. I will give this a try when I get to the church computer.  We are working on a chrch bulletin and this line appearred for some reason.

You're seeing a paragraph border. Just click above the line, then click the border icon in the Paragraph group. Choose the No Border option.
