the Works Suite software from your system.

How do I completely remove Works Suite 2001?
Answer:
Use the following directions to completely remove Works Suite 2001.
If you do not have some of the following folders, applications, or registry entries listed, just keep following the directions.
1) Remove the programs from Add\Remove programs.
Click on Start, Control Panel, Add\Remove programs.
Click on Microsoft Encarta Encyclopedia Standard 2001, then click Remove, and YES.
Click on Microsoft Money 2001, then click Remove, and YES.
Click on Microsoft Picture It Publishing 2001, then click Remove, and YES.
Click on Microsoft Streets and Trips 2001, then click Remove, and YES.
Click on Microsoft Word2000 SR-1, then click Remove, and YES.
Click on Microsoft Works6.0, then click Remove, and YES.
Click on the Microsoft Works Suite Add-In for Microsoft Word, then click Remove, and YES.
Click on Microsoft Works 2001 Setup Launcher, then click Remove, then Remove again, click on Microsoft Works, then continue to finish the process.
2) Remove left over folders and files.
-Go to the following folder:
C:\Program Files\
Remove any folders for Microsoft Works, Microsoft Picture It, Microsoft Office.
-Go to the following folder:
C:\Documents and Settings\ All Users\Application Data\
Remove any folders for Works, Office.
-Go to the following folder:
C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Local Settings\Applications Data\Microsoft
Remove any folders for Works.
-Search your hard drive for "Works"
Delete any folders or files that are found for "Works".
You generally want to delete anything that is found under the "C:\Program Files\" folder.
If the item or folder is located under C:\Windows or C:\Windows\System32, do not delete it.
-Also delete any left over icons or folder you may have left in your Programs menu,
or your desktop.
3) Remove the registry entries.
Click on Start, Run.
Type in Regedit and click ok.
Browse to the following folders:
-HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SOFTWARE \ MICROSOFT \
Remove any folders for Works, Works Suite, Clip Art Gallery,
Browse to the following folders:

If you wish to reinstall Microsoft Works, once the above steps have been completed
simply reboot the system and start the install process.

You do not need to remove all the components that are shown, because some of them belong to other applications. You can safely remove anything that starts with "Works".
( Works Suite OS Pack, Works Synchronization, Microsoft Works Suite XXXXX, Microsoft Word XXXXX, Microsoft Works Suite Add-in, Microsoft Picture It Express, Microsoft Home Publishing, ect...)
Highlight all the appropriate listings, then click on REMOVE.
Once the above steps are complete, click on Exit.
