How to delete ControlPoint Connection Manager Wi-Fi profile?

I'm not sure if I'm posting in the correct forum.  Thanks in advance for any assistance.

I've got a Latitute E6500 laptop and was able to create a profile, but now I can't figure out how to delete it.  I found the settings to import, export, and change profile settings, but can't seem to find anything that says delete or remove profile.  How do I delete a profile?

1. I have the same problem on my brand new LatitudeE6500! Thanks for any available help.

2. Is it posible to override DCP and use Windows to manage the wifi connections?

I haven't found any official support document on how to remove the profile so I presume the only fix is to uninstall DCP and let Windows manage the WiFi.

To DELETE a Dell ControlPoint Connection Manager Profile simply right click the profile and select REMOVE.  To EDIT a profile simply right click and select PROPERTIES.

Hello,

I want to delete a profile from my ControlPoint Connection Manager. However, nothing happens when I right-click on the profile ! So I don't know what to do in order to delete the profile. Does this option really exist ? If yes, could you tell me what is the exact procedure ?

Thank you,

John

Hello ALL,

I had the same problem and I was on the mission to fix it.  It is so silly how Dell designed this app.

Open your DCP

SCROLL over CONNECTION MANAGER

NEW window will open, SCROLL over PROFILES

You will see a list of different devices that allow you to connect to the Internet ex.: WiFi, Mobile Broadband

MAKE sure on top of the list under SHOW you have selected ALL

NOW if you want to delete WiFi PROFILE click on the LITTLE SQUARE with an ARROW to the RIGHT of WiFi

NOW you will see all the different PROFILES that are SAVED

RIGHT CLICK on the PROFILE you want to change or delete and here you go

HOPE THIS HELPS!!!  You are probably laughing at DELL at this point :)

HAPPY HOLIDAYS TO ALL!
