How to make Asset Tag Utility to run from a Flash Drive
All:
Is there a way that I can some how make the Asset Tag Utility to run from a Flash Drive instead of the floppy disk? I'm a technician and carry everything on my flash drive. I have a spare drive that I successfully format as DOS bootable and able to bring it up to DOS command with no issue. I copy all the files from the asset tag utility files from the floppy including the hidden and file and paste it to the flash drive. I attempted to boot from it but got this:
Starting....
Type the name of the Command Interpreter (e.g., C:\windows\command.com)
C>
At this point my keyboard locked and I had to reboot.
Your help is greatly appreciated.

Hi, I saw your posting about the bootable flash drive not booting and then you said "Got it working". What did you do to make it work. I want to make one for use with Inspiron 1150 laptops. Do you know which version of ASSET I should use? Thanks for your help.
