MS PowerPoint Design Templates Are There but Invisible!

I am running Windows XP with MS Office Professional. My PowerPoint design templates are not working properly. When I open the Slide Design window, I cannot see anything. However, if I start clicking in various positions with my mouse, the templates are there. I just can't see them until I click on them.

I did not have this same problem at work until I copied one of my ppts from home and opened it. After that, I started experiencing the same phenomenon!

What gives?

It sounds like a corrupt file somewhere. I would suggest uninstalling PowerPoint and reinstalling it.

In the alternative, you could download dependency walker from

http://www.dependencywalker.com/

and run the Powerpoint exe file on it, to see what, if anything needs repairing.

I've had the exact same problem before, sometimes when I start PowerPoint it's fine, sometimes the templates are invisible. I have no idea what causes this or what it only sometimes happens :S
