Microsoft Money 2004 - can't open

When I click on Money, the home page opens for a few seconds and then closes back to the desktop.  The problem started when I tried to access my Portfolio, and the program closed.  Unfortunately, I changed the view for the home page,  and now the problem's worse.  Does this mean the Money program is corrupted and is there a way to salvage it?   I tried a restore with my backup disk, but got a message that the disk was corrupted.  Thanks.

Have you tried reinstalling the program? I don't use Money, but would recommend a reinstall.

I tried re-installing the program, but that didn't work.   Could it be that I don't have enough memory?  I have 256 on Dell Dimension 2400.

Try uninstalling the program, reboot the PC, then reinstall it. You should not lose your data if you do this, just have to open the file after the reinstallation.
