Microsoft Word changed it's margins~copy/paste question! Help!
Hi. I create my emails using my Microsoft Word. I have had no problems typing them there, then copying and pasting them into my Outlook Express.
However, the other day, I used a "Text Box' on my Microsoft Word, to create a CD cover.
Now, when I use Microsoft Word, and type my message, when I copy and then past to my email message in Outlook Express, it is WAY too wide and I and the receiver are unable to view it without have to use the "scroll" right to left button at the bottom. Does this make sense?
When I would paste it into my email previously I was able to view the message within the "box" of the email without having it be too "wide". There were 6-8 words per line when I would copy and paste and NOW there are about 20.
I am trying to get the message that I type in Word to be easily copied and pasted to my email like I was just doing a couple of days ago. I have not reset anything in my Out look Express.
Can someone please help me, this is frustrating!!!!??? Thanking you in advance.
~Jackie

By the way, I am using Windows XP Home and my computer is a Dell 2300. If that matters. Thanks.

It sounds as though you may have modified your normal template when creating the CD cover. Make sure your system is set to display hidden files and folders (you can set this in Windows Explorer under Tools|Folder Options|View tab) then do a search for normal.dot. Right-click and delete all occurrences found. When you start Word again it will generate a new normal template and should restore your cut-and-paste capability with OE.

JRosenfeld,
I have tried that but when I copy and paste to my email message in Outlook Express the margins are really extended. I can have almost a sentence and a half on one line, when my messages were nice and compact before. I don't know if I should do a system restore or if that would make a difference.

For Windows Explorer go to Start|All Programs|Accessories. It's listed there.

I apologize for sounding so stupid, but I don't know where to go for "Windows Explorer". I tried going under Tools on Internet Explorer and also in Microsoft Word but don't see the options that you listed.
Sorry that I am so slow at this. You can probably see why I am having a problem!
