Microsoft Works - Task Launcher does not work, Clipart prompts for disks

When using this Dell installed software for the first time, the Task launcher asks for system to be re-installed from disk.  As this was installed on purchase (no disks supplied), I appear to be stymied.
 
Therefore I cannot even run the overview.  After only 8 weeks, should I have to pay to use the Dell software support for a product that is clearly not "fit for it's purpose and of merchantable quality"?
 
The Sales department hung up when I attempted to report this !

Disks for the installed software should have been supplied. Go through your boxes again and contact Dell support--not sales--if you can't find them. While you're at it, make sure you have the operating system disks, too.
