Need Help uninstalling Cyberlink PowerDVD

I need help to uninstall Cyberlink PowerDVD version 4.0

The program got corrupted, and when I try to uninstall it, I get the following message

 

PowerDVD

An installation support file could not be installed.

The system cannot find the file specified.

 

Also I tried using the installation CD, but that does not work either, because it states that a previous version is installed, and I should uninstall it first.

I can't uninstall it, and it wont let me reinstall over it because I have to uninstall it first.

Round and round I go :-(
