Problems Installing Dell ControlPoint System Manager Application A07 on Vista64Bit/Windows2008 64Bit

Hello,

I've got a problem installing this piece of software on a latitude E6500. Installation goes trough, at the end of the installation a messages is shown which says, that the installation was interrupted. So I startet the Installation with msiexec /le. The log files remains empty.

In the Windows Event Log an event with id 1033 is getting logged (MSI Installer Error 1603)

I startet another try with more extensive logging. The only interesting hint I've found is the following:

Rollback: Registering type libraries
Info 1912.Could not unregister type library for file C:\Program Files\Dell\Dell ControlPoint\System Manager\MobilityCenter.exe.  Contact your support personnel.

Anyone got a clue whats going wrong here?
