You can go to start - run and type in MSCONFIG. Click the startup tab. Here is where you can remove programs from startup. From what I see you can pretty much uncheck almost all of these programs from startup. Below is the ones that I would leave in the startup. All others remove. Removing these programs from startup will increase boot time and performance of the system. These programs are still installed but do not need to be running at startup.

rmdl - I'm going to guess that Jesse-L meant to say "Decrease" boot time and "increase" performance.
