Where can I download Dell Datasafe Local Backup setup file?

well thank you for your advise but l do not live in US and there is no Dell Customer Support in here at all.Great customer service has DELL like Sony...

How come the download from:

Also, why do I get a scary warning "DataSafeLocslBackup_Basic.exe is not commonly downloaded & could damage your computer." when I download the latter?

It sounds like I can't use it anyway because I've had to have my faulty hard drive replaced and so don't have a recovery partition anymore.  Is that right?

heya,

my nephew has formated my system while I was away. now i can neither find the DSL nor the datasafe partition from that boot up menu after pressing F8. he also created some new partition, so I dont know if he might have deleted the datasafe partition or what. what are my options now if everything has been lost. I am using a Dell XPS 14z laptop.

please help.

My hard disk crashed and had to be replaced. In this way we lost that partition with Windows. The backup disk can be installed Genuine Windows running smoothly directly after cd.
In your case, if you have not first opened back-up disk can not do anything. F8's gone

i read your abouteverything you are going through now i am going to tell my story and it will exspain everything . i bought another dell computer xps8100 and transferd my files over it went ok i thought until i keep getting these little boxes and i could not for the life of me figure out what happened so i got ahold of dell hear is the number for data safe 1-877-218-1671 this number will go straight to dell data safe service and it is different than gust going to dell on call or what ever they call it now but my comuter had a vierus or worm or trjin and just was junk soi called dell on my warrenty and we had to start over from the begining and redo the hole computer and more well after awhile i noted that dell data safe was thier but a red line through the back up line on the top of that page so i called dell and was hug up on 17 time for one reason or another well i finely found out dell data safe is different than the rest of dell witch exspained the hang ups not getting through i finily talk with a nice guy mini was hes name and he help me set up dell data safe on line and got 10 gb of memery to start out cool well then we started to work on data safe local and for on reason or another he could not get it so he took a picture of were we wher so then he said it would take up to 5 business dayso get a responce so i called a little early and got another person who was roud to me telling i need to wait and so on so then he says let me se well something was thier for the solution i  thought that was good and let him take control of computer and he tried to get it back well i even lost icon for dell data safe local and he turned my computer off and waited for it to come back up i lost everythin g and he wanted to start from scrach well i asked him if i could get everthing i had and paid for back and he said if i did not pay for it at dell they would not put it back up including everything that came with computer by then i was mad enough to just stop for the day and try again to day so i was thinking about how this went down and tht i would lose all my programs i paid for and so i went to esc and keep hitting the f 12 keyy i did that and thier was aline that said repair minor problems what did i have to lose and then it told me to put in drvers and opperating system it was not reading a boot program was lost so i did and then all of asudden it came up and all i lost was dell data safe local  as the time went buy i got that call from dell i was afraid of and it was a manager of dell on call and i told him what happened and he said that the dell data safe online was the way to go in the end because if computer goes down you are going to lose it any why so then i told him that he had some very good guys at the dell data safei even named the good ones and told me he will be getting back to me so i would call that number the1877-2181671 and ask for help if they can you will be back in business and like they told me dell data safe is always underwarenty call them if it can be done they can do it as long as you do not get the guy i did at end that told me i was going to have to start from scratch. good luck i no they will help you and not charge you  think about dell data safe online because you can always go thier to get it made sence to me i hope this helps you get what you want back up and running good luck 877-218-1671 is your answer jlknuteson
