Wireless scanning??

Question

I have a HP Scanjet 5470 Scanner. It is connected to my Dell Dimension 8400 desktop and works fine. I also have a Dell Inspiron E1705 laptop. I have loaded and updated the scanner software on my laptop. I was trying to get the scanner to work wireless like my printer but I can't figure out how to do it. Can it be done??

I'm running Windows XP Pro and have a linksys WRT54G router.

Wrong forum. However, scanners must be attached directly to the computer to work. You cannot use wireless for scanning. Scan on the other computer and copy the scanned document to the other computer by using your wireless network.
