Word 2002 C++ Runtime error

I have a new Dell 4700 with the Works 2004 Suite that includes Word 2002.

 

When I open Word and start editing a document, I recieve a C++ Runtime Error after about 10 minutes.  The program terminates without allowing me to save anything. 

 

I started looking around and saw that Autorevover was set to 10 minutes.  Just for fun, I set Autorevover to 1 minute.  Sure enough, after about 1 minute, Word died again with the C++ Runtime Error.

 

I would like to find a solution to this error.  Any help would be appreiciated.
