You don't.  The key was supplied with your computer (as were the CDs you have).  If you lost the key, you'll need to buy a new copy.  Dell won't supply a new key as they cannot.

Could be that your Word came with Works. Look for the cd's for Works and you'll find the key on the box. Also, you didn't do a clean install, so you could still be infected. You would have had to reinstall all your programs, including Word if you removed the old Windows or reformatted.
