2300MP, Mac OS X, USB, and the remote control.
I have a Dell 2300MP projector and an Apple iBook running OS X. Is it possible to connect the USB cable between the projector and the computer and use the "Page Up/Page Down" buttons on the remote?
This works on a PC, why not on a Mac?
Thanks
JH

I don't have any MAC's to test this on. You might want to look on the MAC forums for advice.

By "MAC forums" do you mean the "Software - Other" forum on the Dell site?
I just want to find out if it is officially supported, and if not, if I could request that future support for Mac OS X be added.
Cheers,
JH

That seems odd that "Windows XP is the only operating system supported" since the owner's manual for my 2300 MP projector states one of the features as "compatibility with Macintosh computers" on page 2-1.
Please help resolve this inconsistency.
Best regards,
JH

Look here:

Since the Macintosh platform is officially supported, how do I go about escalating this issue?
Best regards,
JH

How would I go about suggesting to Dell that they fully support the Mac OS with their projectors?
It seems a bit misleading to advertise in the user guide that "Compatibility with Macintosh® computers" is a feature, when in actuality, Dell only partially supports Macintosh computers.
Best regards,
JH
