3400MP Won't display computer desktop

Question

Hello. I have a Dell 3400MP. I'm trying to display my computer desktop. My computer is an Apple Laptop with an Intel chip. I have both Mac and Windows operating systems on the computer. The projector displays the desktop when I have the Mac side of the computer going. But it will not work when I have the Windows side up. I am running Windows XP. I've tried everything -- including calling technical support, updating XP software to SP3, unplugging and plugging back in the projector. . .the computer is recognizing the projector and says everything is okay. The projector stops on the monitor source when I hit 'source' on the remote -- but it can't recognize it.  Any suggestions?

Hi worth checking FN and F8 Key which you use for toggling between LCD and Projector is working properly under windows.   Good Luck   Matin

I tried ALL the function keys -- including F8 -- no luck. Any other suggestions?
