Bouncing/double image when watching tv or playing a game on PS2

I have a 2200mp and I really enjoy it buthave noticed a problem. If I`m watching something that has a lot of white saturation (like and Ice Hockey Game) the image will begine to bounce. It almost looks like a double image one on top of the other. This only last a couple seconds before returning back to normal. I also noticed it when I`m playing PS2, Last night I was playing GT4 and when I move from screen to screen it will do the bouncing / double image.  I also noticed it everyonce in a while when watching a DVD. When I watch a DVD sometimes the whole image will shift down for a breif second and then go back up to normal.

Is this a issue with my freq. or is this normal. It`s almost as if the interlacing looses it`s lacing capabilty for a couple seconds. I using standard RCA`s for viewing.  Any help would be greatly appreciated. I avoid watching hockey now on my projector because of this problem. Sometimes It`s so bad that I have to hit the resync button to get the screen refreshed.   HELP!!!

If anyone checks this thread out because they have similar problems, I fixed my bouncing image!

I replaced my el cheepo RCA wire with a high quality Monster cable! The image is cleaner and there is no more bouncing. The bouncing I`m describing could be compared to that of a screen when you change input sources and the frequency changes...   The monster cable provides a better frequency and there are more problems.

Is "Monster" cable an actual brand?

Although a cable seems unlikely as source of the problem I am having with a ceiling-mounted projector, it is something we might consider in the future.

The span of our cable(s) is perhaps about 16 feet across the ceiling, ten feet down the wall and perhaps another twenty feet through a wall or underneath the (raised) floor.

Our BNC type connectors are for R-G-B but the colors that are separating (not converging) on the screen are cyan and magenta but yellow seems to be missing (black is there).

Yes, Monster is a brand of cables.  They have low end cables (still not cheap) and they have high end cables (THX, etc...expensive).  And yes, cables make a HUGE difference in your picture quality.  Other than spending the majority of money for your system on good speakers, you should buy the best cables you can within your budget.  I spent roughly 15% of my total costs on my system for cabling.  It is extremely important.

I have about a ~25-foot run between my projector and my components and cabling was essential in getting my hi-def signal from my stb to the projector.  If you truly have a 46-foot (extremely long run to get the best signal possible) run, you better buy very, very good cabling to retain the integrity of your signal.  If you don't, you will have problems I guarantee.  What you should do is go to your local high-end store and buy 50' coax (RG59) cables and have the store put RCA jacks on the end.  Those cables should work for you and they aren't as expensive as getting custom built cables.
