Please Help me with 2200MP-

I just bought a Dell 2200 MP projector. 

I own a small dance studio and want to use it for showing pictures., etc on the wall of the studio.

I have a Dell Inspiron laptop ...just a few months old...It runs on Windows 7-

I tried to connect the monitor up and it gives me a drivers (or something) error.

I teach DANCE..not great at computers....

What do I do to get this to work? 

ANY help would be sooo appreciated!
