connecting vga and component simultaneously via M1

I am using my 3200 projector in a home theater system.   I would like to be able to hook up my DVD player and HDTV via component video to take advantage of progressive scan, and at the same time hook up my PC via VGA.  Since both use the M1 connection, I don't see that this will be possible.

I recently purchased the ATI Radeo 9800 All In wonder pro, I figured I could do all from one box (using the PC as DVD, TV and PC) using only the VGA cable. Even though this solution works, it produced a less than desirable DVD image (not as good as the component solution in progressive scan mode).  Has anyone found a good solution to be able to view DVD,HDTV, and PC without having to switch cables?

Has anyone seen an M1 splitter or "Y" cable anywhere?  Or even a respectable Component Video to VGA solution that doesn't let the image go to poop?

Any ideas or solutions will be much appreciated and tested to the fullest!

Thanks all!   David

There are all kinds of VGA switches available. Some are simple rotary switches that cost under $20.00; I am using one and it works fine. There are also more expensive switches.

Yeah, I've got the rotary vga switch you are talking about, as well as powered KVM switches and the sort.  But that doesn't help me...

I want to run VGA and Component into the back of the projector at the same time. (I don't want to VIEW them at the same time, only have them connected at the same time) I want to keep my video signal component, and my computer signal VGA.  In order to do this presently, I have to switch cables back and forth into the M1 receptacle in the back of the projector when I want to switch from one to the other.  Since the projector is mounted on the ceiling, this becomes a pain, and I have to re-adjust the projector every time I fool with it.

Is there any other way to easily hook up both into the 3200MP?  Another solution that I have thought about is switching my Component video signal to VGA then running it as well as computer image into a VGA switch; then I would only have to run one VGA cable to the projecter...  Are there any Component to VGA converters that allow for progressive scan and and no image quality degradation?

I have a triple shielded svga cable, running from my projector in the ceiling. It is 25' long, and it connects to a rotary VGA switch. One input on the VGA switch is connected to a SVGA cable that runs to the computer, and the second input is used for the vga end of the component video to vga cable that came with the projector. On the MP 2200 the projector will automatically change setting when I switch the rotary switch from the computer input to the component video input.
