Dell PE R930 Dell Intel X520 10GB Card Not Working

Question

Hi We have a Dell R930 which already has a Dell intel x520 Card installed and working.  We recently purchased some new Dell Intel X520 cards and just cannot get them to work.  They cannot be seen in the IDRAC firmware inventory list.  They do appear in the Hardware inventory but not in the same manner as the working card.  Server has latest Bios, Idrac and lifecycle controller firmware. Card details - 0XYT17 Any help welcome

Hi

Card cannot be seen is OS (Vmware). Can be seen under IDrac>Hardware>Network Devices.

Not sure if can be seen in the BIOS but defo not in ESX.

Working card has firmware 17.0.2, This card not showing up but guess new as card was manufactured in May 2020. Thanks

Can you check whether card details are show under iDRAC Overview -> Hardware -> Network Devices page? Are you able to see the new card in BIOS or Operating system? If you are able to see the card in operating system, can you flash latest firmware on the network card and see the behavior on iDRAC.
