Hello

I just tested the FTP site on an external network. It is loading very slow, timeouts are likely to occur with how slow it is loading. You should be able to use downloads in place of our ftp site.

ftp.dell.com
downloads.dell.com

If you are having an issue with a download then I suggest providing detailed information about the download. When someone makes a broad statement, like our FTP site isn't working, I will try to load the site and download something. I don't typically encounter issues when I do that. There may be issues with the method you are using or a specific file.

Thanks

Hello Daniel kindly, I tried the downloads.dell.com when updating the firmware I just put i instead of the ftp.dell.com and even use IPs instead still loads the catalog, but when I click the apply, still gives me the error try another repository unable to update the package, so it is failing to download, it is not even passing to the updating stage, and the updates those I need to update are already published in the ftp.dell.com as below: BIOS 2.9.1 IDRAC 2.61.60.60 ,A00 Intel NIC x520 Family firmware version 18.5.18 ,A00 Note that the IPs for ftp.dell.com are as below: 143.166.135.76 143.166.147.76 best regards

Hello,

What you may consider trying is to manually flash just the iDRAC. This can sometimes help in getting the Lifecycle controller to accept the update packages. If you want to give that a try, you can find the update package linked below with a page on where to load it in the iDRAC interface following. The R730 platform would be using an iDRAC8.
