Can RecoverPoint for VMs used to replicate Microsoft SQL Server?
Hi,
My customer is interested to protect MSSQL instance with RP4VM.
Is this supported and will it work?
Thank you for the answers!

Hi JiriVidgren
In short the answer is yes it will work
There is a new version of RP4VM available -- 5.1 which simplified the installation over previous generations
Once you have it up and running -- protect the VM -- Select the journal sizes and the VM is protected
You can then test various scenarios including roll back
Hope this helps

It's important to clarify that the improvements in the RP4VMs installation process do not relate to the support of MS SQL. RP4VMs is app/database agnostic BUT in respect of any need to used shared disks for SQL as part of MS clustering, this is currently not supported.
