Integration of NS120's with RP's and Vcenters ? Do we need SRM installed for failover Detectiion or RP has plugins into Vcenters for fail over and fail back of VM'S and Hosts ?

Recoverpoint does not automate VM failover in ESX, you need to have SRM to do this

There are a variety of documents that cover RecoverPoint's integration with VMware vCenter Site Recovery Manager.  The most applicable one is the RecoverPoint with VMware Technical Note.  The important part is the automation is part of SRM and that RecoverPoint ensures the data is available for use by the remote VMs, either during a testing failover or a real failover.  This is not to state that RecoverPoint can not protect your VMs without SRM.  It works fine, but you need to perform the automation yourself, either via scripting or using both products GUI.

Thanks Gary , We have two Arrays and RP and two Vcenter farms in two geographically different location , just trying to find out if SRM is required to get the replication adn DR working or can we do it without SRM by using RP GUI  mgmt console.
