RPA Upgrade from Gen4 to Gen6

I have a customer looking to upgrade from Gen4 to Gen6 on the primary site Before procurement customer would like to understand how complex is the upgrade Below is the current Setup Gen4 - Primary Site  (VNX5300) Gen5 - Secondary Site (VNX5300) Customer is only looking to replace primary site Gen4 appliance for now and retain the Gen5 @ Secondary site No of CG's - 7 Capacity replicated - Around 12TB It would be great if someone can help with high-level steps

Yes Customer is using this RPA cluster to replicate couple of critical block data between DC/DR instead of mirrorview

Hi Raghu,

Is this an RP/SE installed system as you mentioned the VNX arrays?

Ok. You need tin use the DM Replacement RPA wizard but because it is RP/SE you will need to spoof the WWNs on the Gen6 RPAs from the GEn4 RPAs. This is part of the replacement process which non-disruptive. The CGs running on the RPA to be replaced will be temporarily moved to another RPA in the cluster as part of the process and then moved back again when the process has completed.
