Replication with RP between IBM arrays
I would like to use RP to replicate between multiple vendor arrays, mostly IBM though. The way I understand it, we would have to use the host-based spliter since we can not use array nor a switch splitter. But, I believe that things like DRS and Vmotion are not supported with a host-based splitter. VPLEX with RP would be great but we cannot move with a VPLEX yet.

In order to support heterogenous arrays with RecoverPoint moving forward will be with VPLEX. Host splitter was typically only supported for EMC arrays in the past with very few exceptions.
With VPLEX you get all the benefits of using RecoverPoint as well as enabling VMware for HA across distance and within a datacenter. (including DRS and VMotion)
