Can you create a mirror drive on Windows 2008R2?
When trying to create a new EMC Mirroring for Windows data source the following error message is returned:
Failed to manage D: Driver result: 259, No more data is available
The mirror drive can create on Windows 2008SP2.
The mirror drive can not create on Windows 2008R2.
Please teach if there is an environment from which the mirror drive was create.

Hi,James
I wrote an example.
It cannot be CDROM Drive.
This drive is a basic partition created in MBR Disk.
If there is information, please teach it.

The error you recieve is pretty much uninformative.
What do you see in the system event logs for same?
Are both devices initialized?
Are you logged in as a local/domain admin?

Hi,James
Because the mirror drive cannot be made, any event of VincaMV is not displayed.
Moreover, the event related to other disks is not displayed either.
It is Workgroup environment.
I log in as Local administrator.
I think that it is caused by some kind of specifications changes of R2.

Hi there
Are you using Autostart?
We need as much information here as possible. Are both disks read/write and initialized?
Thanks

Hi,James
I'm sorry.
Yes, I initialized.I use AutoStart5.3SP3
The config is not wrong.
Are you well informed about AutoStart?
Look at SR32342204 when you have time.

This Issue was revised in AutoStart5.3SP4.
However, AutoStart5.3SP4 has a serious issue.
Please look at this discussion.
