Hi,
It is a reprint from the knowledge base.
Resolution
Warning: This article contains information about modifying the registry. Before you modify the registry, make sure to back it up and make sure that you understand how to restore the registry if a problem occurs.
Export the key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Services\VincaMV\Parameters incase you need to import back the original settings in the registry.
Using Regedit, the ManagedSharedDiskVolumes Key needs to be removed and recreated again with a Zero Value and must be of type REG_SZ.
This will now show the all previously managed partitions in the Disk Management Tab of AutoStart Console as unmanaged .
Then go to the Disk Management Tab of the Datasource in AutoStart Console and manage the disks again.
This will restore functionality back to the Datasource .
The Location of "ManagedSharedDiskVolumes" is under:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Services\VincaMV\Parameters
