Hi, Try running ft_setup but it does not ask for license and ft_startup cannot startup the services. notices the ftAgent in running in ps. try running ft_gethostname the result is FAILED

I would suggest running an ft_shutdown to stop the ftagent process. If it fails to stop the process, then do a kill of the process. Try running ft_gethostbyname to verify the FT_HOSTS entries on the server.

Found the problem, it is the hosts file on the server. it seem that we need to put the node name as the first name on the hosts file. the guy who set this up is using localhost as the first entry.
