ESRS-VE migrating devices?
Hello, In the ESRS r3.06 Installation and Operations Guide rev 01 on page 116, there is a note "Only authorized EMC personnel with SecureID and Partners can migrate devices. Partners must be a Primary Dispatch Resource (PDR) for both ESRS v2.x and ESRS v3.0". Does that mean when I am ready to cut over the arrays from the current ESRS v2 to the new ESRSve enviornment, that I create an SR to have the arrays migrated, or do I migration the arrays now (since v3.04) using the directions in the manual? Thanks.

Only EMC and certain EMC Partners can migrate the devices from an ESRS 2 Gateway to ESRSVE so open an SR and ask EMC to do that. If you used a new IP address for the ESRSVE, make sure EMC changes any applicable connect home configurations from the ESRS 2 IP address to the one used for the ESRSVE and tests.

James: Great, I'll do that. Thanks for the information.
