320GB drive for a Dimension 3000?

Hello,

Will a Western Digital 3.5" 320GB Caviar Blue PATA hard drive be compatible with a Dimension 3000 desktop? Or would I be better off using a 160GB or 80GB drive?

Yes, the WDC 320gb Caviar Blue 3.5" internal PATA hard drive, will work just fine in the Dimension 3000, as will the PATA 250gb, 160gb and the 80gb hard drives.

The have checked the system specifications and hard drive upgrade options for the Dimension 3000, and here is what I found:

 
 
 
I could not locate any hard drives on the Dell website but I,m sure you will get one at a local retailer or you can shop online starting with this link:
