Apllication error has occured-Dr. Watson for Windows NT
Hi,
A PC at my job has been running into to this problem now. (Windows NT 4.0)
It seems that only at certain websites, sometimes even certain pages of certain websites, the error message will pop up in a small window, and close my windows down.
The message reads.
"Dr. Watson for Windows NT"
"Apllication error has occured
and ann application error log is being generated."
iexplore.exe
exception: access violation
(0xc000005), address 0x70d6e306
I just finished dowloading the lastest service pack for Windows NT (SP6a), that apperntly did not do the trick.
If this is a problem due to a memory issue, I don't know why this computer was set up this way but the C drive has a 2GB capacity, and the E drive has a 15GB capacity. The C drive has all the important programs (Internet Explorer, Outlook, Excel, Word, the hard drive etc.) The C drive is basicaly full, so I don't know if this helps in any diagnosis.
Any help would be appreciated.
Not the sharpest on the computer, so I just ask not to get to technical, If any further info is needed please ask.
Thanks
Carlos

I don't have an answer, but the C: being 2GB is normal and it should be set like that. It's a limitation of Windows NT 4.0.

Thanks, wasn't sure if that was normal.
Also, wanted to add it is a Optiplex GX110
and if anyone think I should have this listed in another category, please just let me know.
Thanks
Carlos
