Hi, Kath:

When does this happen? When you boot the system? Are you getting a message to hit F1 to continue or F2 for system setup?

My first suggestion would be to run the Dell diagnostics. Hit F12 at the bootup screen and select the utlities partition. Run the hard drive and DVD read tests.

Hi osprey4! Thanks for your reply. I deleted the Lower and Upper Filters in the registry and it worked! My DVD Drive worked again. :) I've the diagnostics and all the systems passed :) Thanks for your concern. :))
