Buying a Camcorder

I just bought a new Dell with a DVD writer.

Any suggestion on what to look for in a camcorder.

I'm looking at the Panasonic PV-DV53.

Will I get to make home movies and burn them to a DVD?

I would suggest a digital camcorder and one that connects to your computer with either usb or firewire depending on what your computer has and yes you will be able to make dvd's.

Hello-The quality of camera is directly related to how much you are willing to spend. Look for ability to use lens adapters and larger batteries. Try to get a camera that uses DV video format. Links to camera information at DV Links.
