CPx Latitude Operating Software and recovery CD's

I recently purchased a Latitude CPx with no Operating Software and Recovery CD's.I am led to believe the Hard Disk is re-partitioned and fully formatted. Can someone point me in the direction of the relevant CD's.

Not sure what you mean by "re-partitioned" but if it is formatted, you may need to begin with
Dell's s2d partition for your system.

Look up in the left corner at the pull down menu under "Product Support" and start with Reinstall
Guide for your system. You need to follow its instructions for the proper order of installing.

The Utilities and Drivers will be in "Drivers & Downloads" but you are on your own for your
Operating System.

You can look on the rear or underside of your CPx for a Microsoft Sticker with a 25
character Product Code, but I think your system would have had it on the case for the
OS CD, with the code, any copy of the OS could be used to load the OS and then the
code could be used.

Without it, you are stuck with buying an 'up-grade' if you still have an older MS OS,
or if you don't. then you will get hit for a Full install version.

You did not say which CPx you had, but here are resource cds for both. You may be able to find a recovery CD on EBay for your OS, but you will need the Sticker with Product key/COA on your laptop to use it, as they mostly come w/o that item
