Dell Inspiron 5558 - Compatible Hard Drives
I have a dell Inspiron 5558. The hard drive just crashed. How can I determine which hard drives are compatible with my laptop? Or do I need to go through Dell for this part?

Any 2.5", 9.5mm high HD, either SATA, or SSD will be fine.

Thank you so much for your answer. I have one additional question... I see SATA, SATA II and SATA III. Does that matter?
I am looking at a WD Black 1TB Performance Mobile Hard Disk Drive - 7200 RPM SATA 6 Gb/s 32MB Cache 9.5 MM 2.5 Inch - WD10JPLX.
