Do I need another Sata wire or does it come with it?
I just got the Dell XPS 8920 Desktop and Im aware it comes with a 2TB Hard drive. I am unsure if the machine comes with another SATA III to add another SSD or do I have to buy that?

Hi Learninginaction,
Thank you for writing to Dell Community Forum.
XPS 8920 has three 3.5 inch SATA Hard disc drive slots and one M.2 slot (for SSD). If the system has been ordered with one Hard disc drive then it will be shipped with only one SATA cable. If you want to install more Hard disc drives, then you have to purchase the SATA cables as well.

There should be a spare SATA power connector for an additional SATA/SSD inside the case.

Also, to install a 2.5" SSD in a 3.5" bay, you will need a 3.5" x 2.5" carrier, similar to this:
