EISA Partition: What is it ?

On my Dell 530's 300gb hard disk, I have the Vista  OS partition (288.4gb), the Dell recovery partition (10gb) and this EISA partition of 55mb.

What is it for, and should I get rid of it if I want to dual boot ?

TIA

Peter

The 55mb EISA partition on the drive, contains Dell's diagnostic software, that's installed at the factory when the system is built.

Personally, I would keep it, as it makes running diagnostics easier to run, instead of using a CD disc.
