Errors at startup... Cannot find unwise.exe...

I recently had a ton of viruses on my computer, but I installed eTrust EZ Antivirus and it removed 46 different infections, and I still check for infections weekly. Well, with this new antivirus program, most of all my problems on the computer are gone, except some things go wrong when I start it up.. When I turn on the computer, I get this error three times:

Could not load or run 'C:\Windows\unwise.exe' specified in the registry. Make sure the file exsists on your computer or remove the reference to it in the registry.

After hitting OK on all 3 of those errors, a folder always opens up. The folder is my "SBC" internet folder. I don't know why this opens up, but I'd like to know some way I could get it to not do that everytime I turn on the computer.

After that, I get another error type message that says:

Windows cannot open this file:

File: cnfg

To open this file, Windows needs to know what program created it. Windows can go online to look it up automatically, or you can manually select from a list of programs on your computer.

What do you want to do?

(option 1) Used the Web service to find the appropriate program
(option 2) Select the program from a list

Also, when I try to open a saved Text Document from any folder (such as My Documents) I get an error that says, again, "Windows cannot find unwise.exe" ... Is there some way I can unblock or reinstall this "unwise.exe"?

If you could tell me how to get rid of these minor errors, I would greatly appreciate it.

Thank you,
Paige Miller

unwise.exe is part of ad-aware.
I suspect that you may have configured ad-aware to run at startup then uninstalled the program.

UNWISE.EXE is the uninstall part of the WISE installer, a utility that is used to install many different applications or programs.  Your best bet is to use one of the registry cleaning programs and cautiously look for the erroring programs there.
