GSA-H73N Ghost burn...

I have a Inspiron 530 model from Dell and a GSA-H73N dvd drive. Everytime I burn something it ghost burns the dvd (as in it completes the burn process, but there is no data on the disk). The computer will then recognize it as having something on it but will not show any files on it when I view it through windows explorer. I am attempting to burn an ISO file from a Dvd that I ripped. The dvd I ripped does not have security and I have tried both maxell dvd-rw and memorex dvd+rw. After burning it also leaves a dark ring around the inner part of the dvd. Has anyone ever had this problem or know anything I can try? Also I am using Imgburn to do this. I have burned ISO files on dvds before using this dvd drive although I have problems in the past with it.

Hi, White Path:

Does the IMGBurn log show any problems? Have you tried a DVD+R, i.e., not a RW disc?

I was able to solve it on my own. I uninstalled some virtual drives as well did one or two other things. To answer that question though, it would not burn DVD or CD RWs and did not show any problems. I did try burning a CD-R and it worked after I made the changes I mentioned earler, thanks for the help though.
