HELP!! Nero Burning Rom 5 Problem with WinXP
I currently have Nero 5 Express and it doesn't work on my new Dell WinXP when it works fine on my old Win 98. When I run Nero, it doesn't recognize my DVD/CD burner; instead, it just gives me two options of DVD or CD imgage recorder under the scroll down menu of "Which recorders would you like to use?" I can't choose any other options at all. Anybody has any similar problem or know how to solve it?? Great appreciated!!!!

Hi Nictseiscool,
If you have XP SP1, then you need to update to the latest available one for version 5. If you have XP SP2, then you need version 6, actually update to 6.6

Nero offers an upgrade to Nero 6.6. All the packages offered in the upgrade make Nero 5.5 look like amateur stuff. Well worth the time to spend the meager sum on the upgrade. It's probably the best and most complete package on the market for doing CD/DV related stuff.
Not a plug...just that I've tried other packages and Nero came out on top.
