I need help updating the Firmware for my Samsung SW-240B CD-R/RW
I am trying to install Grand Theft Auto Vice City, and it won't detect the 2nd install CD. The site said I should update my Firmware. I tried downloading it from samsung.com and when I run it, it says it can't find my drive. Help!

Hi Tiamold,
Your drive is a Dell OEM model and not the same as the one mentioned at Samsung, good thing it did not find the drive, chances are high it might have trashed the drive.
We are seeing more and more of this lately, so far I have come up empty, consider posting this in the Special Interest-Gaming conference, they may have some insight on the issue.

PS:
Consider reviewing the BIOS updates for your Dell System, see if there is any reference to this issue of detecting a disc.
