Inspiron 2020 not recognizing Hitachi external hard drive
Greetings!
I'm wondering if anyone would be able to tell me why my new Inspiron 2020 does not recognize my Hitachi external HDD? It worked with my old computer, but my new Dell doesn't see it. Any help is greatly appreciated!

Hi spontcumb,
What is the operating system of your 2020? Have you checked disk management for the external drive? Where are you looking?
It might be helpful if you provide the model of the Hitachi.
