My MATSHITA DVDRWBD UJ-110 ATA Device does not read

Hi, I have a M1730,vista 32b with MATSHITA DVDRWBD UJ-110 ATA Device. And for some reason it does not read the cd or blu-rays. I've only had for about 3 weeks maby not even. And i havnt really tried any cd until a few days ago. I tried to play a blu-ray movie and it wont even show up when I goto my computer,the cd doesnt even show. I tried to put in a normal game cd, Warcraft 3 Frozen Throne. It shows a loading thing on my mouse for like a few seconds then nothing and when I goto my computer it shows nothing to. When i double click it it just says insert a disc and ejects the cd. My drive says its up to date and iv done the delete the thing in regedit..Anyone have anything else that can help be appreciated thanks.
