NEC ND3550A vs ND4570A
Hi... since NEC was a recommended brand for an internal DVD burner, which of these 2 models would be best for my Dimension (ND3550A or ND4570A? What are the siginificant differences?

The most significant difference is that the 4570 will also write to DVD-RAM media. Probably not all that useful for most users. The 4570 is fairly new and NEC is still tweaking the firmware to solve some problems. The 3550 has been around a while and have several firmware updates, as well as several modified firmwares. Considering the price difference I think the 3550 is the better buy. That's what I'd go with if my 3520 wasn't working so well. :smileywink:
