OptiPlex GX1 450L+ PIII 450MHz, BIOS Version A10, Max HDD/RAM Support?
Hi,
I got Dell OptiPlex GX1 450L+ PIII 450MHz, running BIOS Version A10 with it.
Q1) What is the MAX Hard Disk Drive Support from the motherboard?
There are 3 DIMM slots and at them moment I filled in with 3 X 128MB SDRAM.
Q2) What is MAX SDRAM capacity each DIMM can support?
Thanks in adance for your early reply.

sbandiuk,
Thank you for visiting the Dell Community Forum.
The largest hard drive that has been tested and validated by Dell for your system type is 20 GB; this does not necessarily mean that a larger drive will not work in the system, it just has not been tested by Dell. If the system does not work with a larger hard drive you can always add an IDE controller card that support drives of this size and connect the hard drive to the controller card instead of the onboard IDE controller.
You can find memory specification for the OptiPlex GX1 in the Online User’s Guide located at the following address:
