PATA drive not recognized when SATA RAID = On

I have a XPS/Dimension XPS Gen 2 with RAID 0 (2 x 75G WD 10k RPM SATA drives)
I'm trying to add an internal Toshiba Deskstar 500G PATA drive.

I jumpered it as the Master (A+B & G+H) and wired it to the vacant IDE connector
I changed the BIOS (A06) for Primary Master Drive = AUTO

When I try to boot Windows, the Toshiba PATA doesn't show up under Non-RAID Disks.
And the computer wants me to "strike F1 to retry boot".

If I boot to a disk manager on a CD, it sees both WD SATAs and the Toshiba PATA.
I even used a disk utility to verify all drivers are in good working order.

If I disable the SATA RAID and run the Windows installer from CD
It sees the PATA drive on ID 0 at BUS 0 and formats it for the install.

So what am I doing wrong?

Looks like I solved the problem by changing the hard drive sequence in the BIOS
I moved the RAID Array above the System BIOS boot devices.
