Promise TX2 RAID kills hibernate?
Hi:
I recently installed a Promise FastTrak100 TX-2 running RAID 0 in my Dimension 8250. It is working as expected except it locks going into hibernation. I don't get the usual "Preparing for Hibernation" screen, the monitor just goes off, but the computer continues to run. Any ideas?
TIA,
Bill

In my own personal Optinion., I do not think desk tops systems are really handle Hibernation well, and the feature is more for laptops where you have limited battery life.
I think if your running RAID, you have even more risk of something going wrong going in and out of Hibernation. I use Hibernation on my laptop all the time, but would never consider using it on my Dell XPS.
Just my Optinion.
