SONY DW-D22a Problems!

Question

I have a dell 8200 bios A03. I just upgraded my cd-rom to a Sony dvd DW-D22A. Windows XP SP2 device manager gives me an error : Windows cannot load the device driver for this hardware. The driver may be corrupted or missing. (Code 39). And places a yellow exclamation mark. The dvd does not show up on my computer at all. I have the jumper set to cable select but not luck. Does any body has any sugestions?
