I have a Dimension E510, purchased new from Dell several years ago.  I recently replaced the hard drive, reformatted, reinstalled, etc.  Everything works, except CD/DVD won't recognize DVDs.  I'm told I need a DVD codec.  I've found several that I would have to pay for, but I already did that when I bought my computer, so I've come back to Dell for it.  I've searched the Dell support website, even with my service tag number, and cannot locate the DVD codec to download.  Where is it?  Searches of this forum only turn up 3 year old threads with broken links.  Apparently, I cannot even email Dell without paying a fee.  Thanks in advance.
